SkateNutt power skating and spring hockey gives kids the chance to hone their stride in the power skating lessons and then apply what they learn in the next game. We believe kids should first learn to skate properly then they'll learn to skate fast. At SkateNutt kids will have access to tools and drills they don't normally get in their regular season. We will focus on building edge control, balance and powerful strides. Gameplay will focus on equal play and our coaches will help the players to learn positional play.
Meet Coach Matt
Matt McNutt was born and raised on the East Coast in Truro, Nova Scotia. More recently Matt and his wife Heather have come to call Carleton Place home. Matt's passion for hockey has been passed down to his kids Lochlan, Thatcher and Thea and have fuelled a passion to work towards athlete development in the Ottawa Valley. At the end of the day, we would love to meet you and discuss how we can help your child work toward their hockey goals.
